Recently I got together with a number of fellow wedding planners. Of course there are several names that come up when it comes to celebrity wedding planning. Preston Bailey is one of those names. Below is an interview you may enjoy watching. I love how Preston brings the outdoors in.
Just remember your wedding can be everything you want it to be as long as you have the right wedding vendors.

There are so many songs out there to choose from when it comes to our first dance. I can't tell you the amount of times we've heard the same songs over and over again. I think this is a great choice for you to consider as the song for your first dance. You listen to it and see what you think.
When choosing the song for your first dance really listen to the words of the song. See if it fits the two of you. No doubt when you watch the video from your wedding years from now it will remind you of why you chose it.

Our friends over at Wedding Market posted this interview with Randy Fenoli on his latest project. It's a reality show called Randy to the Rescue. Since "I love Say yes to the dress" I can't wait for this new show. Here what Randy had to say in his interview.
Who wouldn't love getting Randy's help and advice! Your dress is one of the most important decisions you'll make. Know what you want when you go dress shopping but be willing to try other styles on. You just might be surprised.

It's amazing how we all plan for our weddings and pull it off! There are so many tiny details you have to take care of. Recently when I zoomed in on a bride getting her dress on I noticed yet another detail that might get over looked. Check out the video below to see what it is.
Had you thought of that detail? Tell me what you think. Any other details you'd like to share with other brides?

Let's talk videography. Personally I love the fact that I can look back on my childhood and see video of myself. My father always had either a camera or video camera in his hand. Sometimes you take for granted having those memories. Recently I was asked by a brides mother if they really needed videography. To be honest if I could go back and see my grandparents wedding or even my own I would love to. I don't have that. I know what it feels like to regret not having video and I don't want any of our brides to feel that way. It truly is your wedding day in motion. I was discussing this with the owner (Deborah McCoy) of American Academy of Wedding Professionals where I received my wedding planning certification. According to Deborah the number one thing brides regret is not doing wedding videography. Video is your gateway back in time. In your video you'll be able to hear highlights from you wedding that bring back a flood of emotions. Below is a video sampling of some of our weddings.
I know when I sat down to plan our wedding I thought it was going to be fun! It was a lot more stressful than I thought. Fortunately I had great friends who were on the same page as me to help. I loved and appreciated all their help. There was an interesting trend we saw the more brides we came in contact with. They were all so stressed! Some had help with wedding planning others didn't and then there were those who had too much help. The big questions was how could we help? Our solution was for me to go to wedding planning school in 2008 so I could have a pulse on what you were going through and in turn help you. With that knowledge and our experience photographing and filming weddings we are able to give you unique behind the scenes tips. Our goal is for you to plan the wedding of your dreams. I think these top 8 questions are a great way to get you on the right track to planning the wedding of your dreams. Together sit down together and discuss these 8 questions. Of course there are more but these are the basic questions to start with.
1) What is our budget.
2) Will just the two of you be paying for the wedding or will family contribute.
3) When do we want our wedding to take place?
4) Where to we want to have our wedding?
5) Will our wedding be formal or casual?
6 What colors do we want to use?
7) Do we want to hire a wedding planner?
8) What are the three most important aspects of our wedding? Will you be putting more money into any of these?

A few of the many areas we travel to are: Boca Grande, Sarasota, Tampa, Treasue Island, Naples, North Port as well as other cities.
If you've watched the new Wetv show "I Do Over" then you know Diann Valentine. Dianne is a celebrity wedding planner and on her show couples are given the chance to do over their wedding day. The latest episode I can totally relate to. The couple from this episode had a wedding that got ruined because of weather. We photographed a wedding on Palm Island that as soon as they said their vows on the beach it was like the heavens opened up and it rained like you wouldn't believe. Everybody including the bride and groom got soaked! Imagine riding in a golf cart in the pouring rain with no windshield and no sides. To be sure it is one of our most memorable weddings. I have to say the bride and groom were amazing and didn't let that affect them. Oh and the tent had water in it as well! That's where the reception was. Dianne is a celebrity wedding planner. In this video interview she gives some great tips for planning your wedding. Be sure to check out her show!
Diann is planning the wedding for Evelyn Lozado and Chad Ochocinco. Wouldn't Boca Grande be a great wedding destination for them? They could enjoy the beautiful sandy beaches and that island feel without leaving the country!
